Yarn Loop Level 931 Walkthrough
A brown and tan animal holding four heart balloons over a red and pink basket, flanked by four counter blocks marked 40 (bright green, dark green, mid green and olive), with silver beads that only metal bobbins remove.
Verified Board Notes
- Initial Layout Geometry
- A brown and tan animal with a white muzzle sits in a red and pink basket with a silver bead rim, holding four heart balloons in olive, purple, red and cyan; silver beads also ring the mouth. Four counter blocks marked 40 flank it: bright green over dark green on the left, a mid green over olive on the right. Five supply columns show dark green 20, olive 40, beige 20, bright green 20 and cyan 30 on top; storage and track start empty.
- Goal / Target Area
- Empty the four counter blocks, then clear the balloons, the black outlines, the brown face with its white muzzle and red cheeks, the pink and red basket and the silver bead rim and studs.
- Opening Moves
- Dark green 20 from column one, then the linked olive 40 and mid green 20, black 50 from column two and black 40 from column one. Dark green 10, the striped metal 20 and the beige 20 from column three follow, then the purple 40 and bright green 20 pair, red 20 from column three, black 50 from column four and cyan 30.
- Danger Zone
- The track is full many times, but storage never holds more than three pieces: mid-level the beige 4 and brown 12 pair sits beside one short leftover such as a black 7, metal 3 or purple 7. Re-send short leftovers at once so the pair keeps its two slots.
- Unique Mechanics
- Four counter blocks marked 40 drain only for their own shade: bright green, dark green, mid green and olive. Striped metal bobbins are the only ones that take the silver beads. Linked pairs: olive 40 with mid green 20, purple 40 with bright green 20, bright green 20 with mid green 20, beige 10 with brown 40, and white 20 with red 20.
Storage: the five slots where returning bobbins park until their color is reachable again. Linked: bobbins joined by a bar leave together and take one track place each.
Quick Tips for Level 931
- The four squares marked 40 are counter blocks in four shades: bright green over dark green on the left, mid green over olive on the right. Each drains only for its own shade, so the mid green 20 linked to the olive 40 works the upper-right block, and the bright green block waits for the bright green 20s.
- Only the striped metal bobbins take the silver beads around the mouth, the basket rim and the studs in the face. The metal 20 from column one touches storage once with 4 left and goes straight back out; the metal 10 from column five circles with 6 for a while, so keep it moving rather than leaving it parked.
- The beige and brown linked pair returns as beige 4 with brown 12 and sits in storage for a long stretch. That is fine here because storage never holds more than three pieces; do not rush it back out before the balloons above the face are gone.
How to Solve Yarn Loop Level 931 — Full Solution
- Send the dark green 20 from column one first; it drains only the dark green block on the lower left, from 40 to 20. Each of the four counter blocks marked 40 drains only for its own shade: bright green over dark green on the left, mid green over olive on the right.
- Send the olive 40 together with its linked mid green 20. Olive takes the olive block on the lower right down to 16 and works the olive heart at the top, while the mid green drains the upper-right block from 40 to 20. The bright green block on the upper left does not move yet.
- Column two now shows a black 50 and column one a black 40. Send the black 50 first, then the black 40, for the black outlines around the balloons and the face. With both aboard the track is full, so let the green and olive bobbins finish their laps before the next send.
- Send the dark green 10 that surfaces in column one; it takes the lower-left block to 10. Then send the striped metal 20 from column one onto the silver beads around the mouth and along the basket rim. It briefly comes back with 4 and can go straight out again, finishing on the next laps.
- Send the beige 20 from column three for the light tan patches of the face, then the purple 40 with its linked bright green 20 from column four. Purple works the purple heart on the left, and bright green finally starts the upper-left block, taking it to 20. The pair can drop into storage as bright green 0 with purple 17; re-send it right away.
- Send the red 20 that column three now shows for the red heart in the middle, then the black 50 from column four and the cyan 30 from column five for the cyan heart on the right. The track is full again here; short red, black and cyan leftovers bounce through storage one at a time and should be re-sent at once.
- Column two now shows a bright green 20 linked to a mid green 20 in column three. Send the pair: bright green clears the upper-left block and mid green clears the upper-right block. Then send the olive 30 from column two, which takes the olive block down to 4 and works the heart, and the beige 20 under it.
- Send the red 20 from column five, then the striped metal 10 under it for the bead studs inside the face. The metal circles with 6 left for a while and can touch storage; send it straight back. Follow with the cyan 30 from column five and the purple 40 from column four, then the red 10 on top of column three.
- Send the beige 10 in column two with its linked brown 40 for the face; it parks as beige 4 with brown 12, and should stay there until the balloons above the face are gone. Meanwhile send the dark green 10 from column four to clear the lower-left block, then column five's red 20 and olive 50, which clears the olive block, and the black 30 under them.
- Send the pink 10 from column one for the pink band on the basket, then re-send the beige and brown pair. Next send the white 30 from column three for the white muzzle, then the red 10, cyan 20, black 50 and striped metal 10 that come up column four. Short leftovers may park one at a time; re-send each while its color still shows.
- Send the white 20 linked to the red 20 in column three, the brown 30 from column two and the brown 40 from column five. Supply ends with a red 10 over a metal 10 in column one: send the red 10, then the metal 10 for the last bead studs.
- Storage then holds the brown 16 beside the white 9 and red 0 pair; re-send the brown 16, then the pair. The brown takes the last tan stitches and the white bobbin of the pair takes the final white stitch.
Colors in this level:

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Assuming any green bobbin drains the nearest green block. Each block takes only its own shade: bright green on the upper left, dark green on the lower left, mid green on the upper right and olive on the lower right.
- Expecting ordinary bobbins to clear the silver beads; only the striped metal 20 and the metal 10s remove them.
- Re-sending the beige 4 and brown 12 pair while the balloons still cover the face, which just sends it back to storage.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the green 40 squares beside the picture in Yarn Loop Level 931?
They are counter blocks in four shades, and each one drops only for its own shade. Bright green (upper left) takes the two bright green 20s, dark green (lower left) the dark green 20 and two dark green 10s, mid green (upper right) the two mid green 20s, and olive (lower right) the olive 40, 30 and 50. A block disappears at zero.
Which bobbins remove the silver beads in Level 931?
The striped metal bobbins: a metal 20 from column one and metal 10s from columns five, four and one. The metal 20 only touches storage briefly with 4 left; keep every metal bobbin moving while beads remain.
Why does the beige and brown pair keep coming back to storage?
The beige 10 is linked to a brown 40, and the brown face stays hidden under the balloons for most of the level. Leave the pair parked as beige 4 with brown 12 until the face is exposed.
