Verified Board Notes

Initial Layout Geometry
A red block fills the middle, with a black curve sweeping down through it and dark blue and light cyan bands along the upper right. A solid yellow square covers the left side, pink stripes sit at the top-left and bottom-left corners, and a small gold scissors icon rests on the black curve.
Goal / Target Area
Clear the black stitches around the gold scissors so the yellow square bursts on its own, then clear the cyan ring and gray strings it was hiding, along with the red block, the blue bands and the pink stripes.
Opening Moves
Send both black 30s first, then pink 20 on the corner stripes and cyan 30 on the upper-right band. Follow with blue 30 on the dark blue band and red 10 and red 50 on the red block's right and lower edges.
Danger Zone
Long red returns and linked blue and black bobbins can fill the track while the black curve still hides part of the red block. Wait for a bobbin to drain rather than sending another red into a full track.
Unique Mechanics
The yellow square has no matching bobbin. Once the stitches around the small gold scissors icon clear, the icon flies off and the yellow square bursts on its own, uncovering a cyan ring and dark gray strings. Gray '?' bobbins show their color only when the bobbin in front leaves.

Storage: the five slots where returning bobbins park until their color is reachable again. Linked: bobbins joined by a bar leave together and take one track place each.

Quick Tips for Level 894

  • Don't wait for a yellow bobbin; the yellow square disappears once the gold scissors on the black curve are freed.
  • Work black along the curve toward the scissors icon early; that is what opens the left side of the picture.
  • After the yellow square bursts, switch to cyan 20s for the ring and black or dark gray 30s for the strings.

How to Solve Yarn Loop Level 894 — Full Solution

  1. The supply has five columns, with black 30, black 30, pink 20, red 10 and cyan 30 on top. Send both black 30s first. Each one drains completely on the exposed lower part of the black curve in a single lap, and nothing goes to storage.
  2. Send pink 20 on the pink stripes at the top-left and bottom-left corners, then send cyan 30 on the light cyan band at the upper right. If pink comes back untouched at 20, resend it once cyan 30 is working the band; together they drain to 0 over the next lap.
  3. Send blue 30 on the dark blue band inside the cyan one, and send red 10 and red 50 on the big red block from its right and lower edges. Red returns are long, so don't send a new red if the track is already down to one free place.
  4. Gray '?' bobbins reveal their color only when the bobbin in front leaves. Several come out linked, such as two cyan 20s joined through a black 30, or blue 20s joined to red or black. Send a linked set only when every color in it has exposed pixels.
  5. Keep working black along the curve toward the small gold scissors icon on its right side. When the black and red stitches around the scissors are gone, the icon flies off. This level has no yellow bobbin.
  6. The scissors cut the yellow square by themselves. It bursts and uncovers a cyan ring with dark gray vertical strings running through it on the left side of the picture.
  7. Now send cyan 20 bobbins on the ring and the dark gray or black 30 bobbins on the strings and the black curve. Use pink 10 on the short pink stripe tops that still poke above the red block.
  8. Send red 40 and the parked red remainders to cut the red block back from the top. A red returning to storage with 17 or so left is normal while the black curve still hides part of it.
  9. When the track fills up with linked blue and black bobbins on it, wait for one to drain before sending anything new. The last red pieces sit along the top edge of the black curve.
  10. Only cyan 20 and black 40 remain in supply. Send both. Black finishes the curve and cyan picks off the last ring pixels one at a time.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Holding track space for a yellow bobbin that never comes instead of clearing around the scissors icon.
  • Sending another long red while the track is full and the black curve still covers part of the red block.
  • Sending a linked set before every color in it has exposed pixels, so it just returns to storage.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I clear the yellow square on Level 894?

There is no yellow bobbin. Clear the black and red stitches around the small gold scissors icon on the black curve; when it flies off, the yellow square bursts by itself.

  • What is under the yellow square?

A cyan ring with dark gray vertical strings through it. Cyan 20 bobbins take the ring and the dark gray or black 30 bobbins take the strings.

  • How do the gray question mark bobbins work in Yarn Loop Level 894?

A gray '?' bobbin shows its real color only when the bobbin in front of it leaves, and several turn out to be linked, such as two cyan 20s joined through a black 30 or blue 20s joined to red or black. Hold a linked set until every color in it has exposed pixels, or it just goes back to storage.
