Yarn Loop level guide
Yarn Loop Level 926 Walkthrough
A pineapple-shaped house with blue windows, a cyan door panel, a purple chimney pipe and a leafy green crown on a cyan striped backdrop, worked through two crates marked 4, several linked pairs and a pair of scissors hidden in the crown.
Verified Board Notes
- Initial Layout Geometry
- A pineapple-shaped house with an orange, red and yellow diamond-pattern fruit, two blue windows with navy frames, a cyan door panel and a purple chimney pipe on the right sits on cyan stripes, with a green and lime leafy crown holding a pair of scissors and brown bricks at both base corners. Four supply columns show brown 10, orange 20, peach 10 and purple 10 on top; orange 20 is linked to peach 10 and the purple 10 below it to a blue 30. Columns one and four have a crate marked 4 in the second row. Storage has five empty slots and the track is empty.
- Goal / Target Area
- Clear the cyan stripes, the leafy crown, the purple chimney, the windows and door, the brown corner bricks and the orange, red and yellow fruit; the door can only be worked after the crown scissors cut its cyan panel.
- Opening Moves
- Brown 10 from column one (its crate drops to 3 and releases cyan 20), then the linked orange 20 and peach 10, which parks as orange 20 with peach 0. Next cyan 20 (crate releases orange 10), the linked purple 10 and blue 30, and column four's purple 10, whose crate releases red 20.
- Danger Zone
- Once column one's crate breaks, the purple 0 and blue 12 pair, the orange 12 and peach 0 pair and a blue 10 take all five slots; storage turns red while a track place or two is still free. Re-send the orange pair and the blue 10 before new supply.
- Unique Mechanics
- Two crates count down the bobbins they hold and push one up each time the slot above empties. Linked pairs, and one linked chain of three (orange 30, cyan 30 and blue 20), travel and park together. Scissors in the crown drop when the stitches around them are pulled and cut the cyan door panel, exposing a blue door. Soccer-ball tokens on some bobbins are event pickups and do not change play.
Storage: the five slots where returning bobbins park until their color is reachable again. Linked: bobbins joined by a bar leave together and take one track place each.
Quick Tips for Level 926
- The number on a crate counts the bobbins still inside it. Each time the bobbin above a crate leaves, the crate pushes the next one up, so sending column one's brown 10 or column four's purple 10 is also how you open those crates.
- Peach 10 and other short partners empty fast, but a linked pair keeps coming back as one unit until the long partner is used up. The orange 20 tied to peach 10 parks again and again with a slowly shrinking orange count.
- The cyan door panel does not come off with cyan bobbins. Work the green and lime crown first; once the stitches around the scissors are gone, the scissors drop and cut the panel open.
How to Solve Yarn Loop Level 926 — Full Solution
- Send brown 10 from column one first for the brown bricks at the base; the column-one crate drops to 3 and pushes a cyan 20 up. Columns one and four each hold a crate marked 4 under their top bobbin, and the middle columns start with orange 20 linked to peach 10 over purple 10 linked to blue 30.
- Send the linked orange 20 and peach 10 from columns two and three. Peach 10 empties on the outer peach and orange edge, but orange 20 finds little exposed orange and parks in storage as orange 20 with peach 0. Leave it there for now.
- Send cyan 20 from column one onto the cyan stripes; the crate drops to 2 and pushes up an orange 10. Then send the linked purple 10 and blue 30 that now lead columns two and three. Purple 10 works on the purple chimney pipe at the right of the house.
- Send column four's purple 10 for the rest of the chimney. Its crate drops to 3 and releases red 20, then blue 10 after red 20 leaves, then green 10. Send each as it surfaces; red 20 starts on the red rim of the house and blue 10 on the windows.
- Send lime 30 from column three on the crown leaves. It comes back smaller each time; re-send it until it runs out. Keep re-sending the orange and peach pair whenever a place opens; each return shows a smaller orange count as the right side of the fruit opens.
- Both crates now run out. Column four's crate releases its last bobbin, an orange 10, and disappears, leaving the brown 10 linked to the cyan 40 in column three. Column one's crate gives its orange 10, then a blue 20 as it drops to 1, and breaks to reveal a red 30. Send these singles for the orange fruit, the windows and the red rim.
- Watch storage here. The purple 0 and blue 12 pair sits parked from the end of the chimney work, and once column one's crate breaks the orange and peach pair and a blue 10 park beside it and fill every slot. Re-send the orange pair and the loose blue 10 first, and take the red 30 from supply only once a slot is open.
- The purple and blue pair is not done when it leaves storage: it parks again just before the brown and cyan pair goes out and keeps returning with less blue until the blue runs out. Send the brown 10 linked to the cyan 40 for the brown corner bricks and the cyan stripes, re-sending it while brown remains.
- Send the navy 20 linked to peach 10 for the window frames and the peach fruit edge, then green 30, lime 30 and the green 20s on the crown. When the crown stitches around the scissors are pulled, the scissors drop and cut the cyan door panel away, exposing a blue door. Send the blue 20s and navy 20s on the door and windows right after that.
- Send the linked chain of three, orange 30, cyan 30 and blue 20, together; it covers the left fruit, the remaining cyan stripes and the door. Then send yellow 30s for the yellow diamonds on the fruit and red 40 and red 50 for the red rim and lower fruit.
- Send the green 30 and lime 20 linked to orange 40 for the last crown tips and the orange fruit, then the red 30 linked to orange 30 for the red and orange patches on the left side of the fruit.
- Supply ends with the linked orange 40 and blue 30. Send it; re-send parked pieces only as their color shows on the last fragments. Near the end storage holds navy 1, yellow 2 and the orange 0 and red 2 pair; send the two singles, let the orange and blue pair clear the last orange pixels and re-send the orange and red pair for the final red pixel.
Colors in this level:
Orange, Red, Yellow, Peach, Brown, Green, Lime, Cyan, Blue, Navy, Purple
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Taking a new supply bobbin while the two parked pairs and the blue 10 fill all five storage slots. One or two track places are still free, so the send goes out, but the next piece that comes back from the track has no slot left.
- Sending cyan bobbins at the door panel before the crown is cleared. The panel only opens when the scissors in the crown are freed.
- Treating a crate's 4 as a move count. It is the number of bobbins still stacked inside, and it only advances when the bobbin above it leaves.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do the crates marked 4 work in Yarn Loop Level 926?
Each crate holds four bobbins. When the bobbin above it is sent, the crate pushes the next one up and its number drops: column one gives cyan 20, orange 10, blue 20 and red 30; column four gives red 20, blue 10, green 10 and finally orange 10 as it disappears.
Why won't the cyan door panel come off in Level 926?
It is cut open by the scissors sitting in the crown, not pulled by cyan bobbins. Clear the green and lime crown stitches around the scissors and they drop onto the panel, leaving a blue door that blue and navy bobbins then remove.
Why does the orange 20 keep returning to storage with peach at 0?
It is linked to peach 10. Peach empties on the outer edge right away, but most orange pixels are still buried, so the pair keeps parking. Re-send it as the right side of the fruit opens and its orange count drops.
