Yarn Loop level guide
Yarn Loop Level 877 Walkthrough
Strip the orange frame and the silver metal rows, peel the purple-and-white stripes from the right, then clear the lower-right lemon and finally the upper-left lemon.
Verified Board Notes
- Initial Layout Geometry
- Two yellow lemons with brown shading, green leaves and a black stem hang on a purple-and-white vertical striped field inside a light orange frame. Silver metal knit runs along the top and bottom. Four supply columns start orange 40, white 40, purple 50, orange 30 in front and silver 40, maroon 20, brown 50, silver 20 behind. Maroon 20 is linked to white 50, and brown 50 to yellow 40.
- Goal / Target Area
- Remove the frame, both metal rows and the striped field, then clear both lemons with their green leaves, black stem and dark outlines. The upper-left lemon's yellow tip is the last target.
- Opening Moves
- Orange 40 and orange 30 on the frame, then silver 40 and silver 20 on the top and bottom metal rows. Then purple 50 into the right-hand stripes, then the brown 50 / yellow 40 link: brown empties on the frame, and the pair parks as brown 0 / yellow 40 until a lemon is open.
- Danger Zone
- Through the middle of the stripe field the track sits full with white, maroon, purple and yellow all circling. Dark green stalls at 18 and has to wait in storage until the left lemon's leaves open.
- Unique Mechanics
- The silver metal rows along the top and bottom edges can only be unstitched by the silver bobbins. Linked pairs (maroon/white, brown/yellow, brown/white, yellow/black) travel together, and an emptied half still rides with its partner.
Storage: the five slots where returning bobbins park until their color is reachable again. Linked: bobbins joined by a bar leave together and take one track place each.
Quick Tips for Level 877
- Use the two silver bobbins early: they are the only bobbins that can clear the metal rows at the top and bottom.
- Expect the first brown 50 / yellow 40 pair to come back with yellow untouched. Park it until a lemon's yellow edge is open.
- The lower-right lemon clears first. Save dark green for the upper-left lemon's leaves instead of cycling it early.
How to Solve Yarn Loop Level 877 — Full Solution
- Read the board first. Two lemons with green leaves and a black stem hang on a purple-and-white striped field inside a light orange frame, with a row of silver metal knit along the top and bottom edges. There are four supply columns: orange 40, white 40, purple 50 and orange 30 in front; silver 40, maroon 20, brown 50 and silver 20 behind; then white 50, purple 40, white 40 and yellow 40. Maroon 20 is linked to white 50, and brown 50 is linked to yellow 40.
- Send orange 40 from column 1 and orange 30 from column 4. They strip the orange sides of the frame and uncover the silver bobbins under them.
- Send silver 40 and silver 20. Only the silver bobbins can unstitch the metal rows, and both rows are gone before anything else touches the stripes.
- Send purple 50 into the right-hand stripes, then the white 40s. The field peels from the right edge inward. Purple and white come back with remainders in the 20s and teens; send them again while right-side stripes are still showing.
- Send the linked brown 50 / yellow 40 pair. Brown runs dry on the frame, but no lemon body is exposed yet, so yellow stays at 40 and the pair parks in storage as brown 0 / yellow 40. Leave it there for now.
- Send the linked maroon 20 / white 50 pair. White keeps eating stripes while maroon picks off the dark outline of the lower-right lemon. Once that lemon's yellow edge is open, send the parked brown 0 / yellow 40 pair back out so yellow can work on it.
- Send black 30 on the stem and dark green 20 on the darker leaf edges. Dark green stalls around 18 because most of its pixels are on the left lemon's leaves. Park it and leave it in storage.
- The track sits full for long stretches here, with white, maroon, purple and yellow all circling. Wait for one to return before you send the next yellow 30 or bright green.
- Keep feeding yellow 30s, the brown 50 / white 50 link and the bright green 20 and 40 into the lower-right lemon and its leaves. That lemon disappears first, leaving the upper-left lemon with a purple-white strip down its left side.
- Send the purple 40s and white 50 on that last strip, light orange 30 on the leftover left side of the frame, and dark green 40 plus the parked dark green 18 on the left lemon's leaf edges.
- The final supply is maroon 10, yellow 50 linked to black 30, another yellow 50, and two brown 40s. Send the yellow/black pair on the lemon body and stem stub, maroon 10 on the outline, and the brown 40s on the shading.
- Alternate the yellow and brown remainders on the last yellow tip of the lemon until it clears.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Resending the brown 0 / yellow 40 pair before any lemon body is exposed, which uses up a track place.
- Cycling dark green 18 while its leaf pixels are still covered by the left lemon's stripes.
- Sending another color into a full track instead of waiting for white or purple to return.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I open Level 877?
Send orange 40 and orange 30 on the frame, then silver 40 and silver 20 on the metal rows at the top and bottom. After that, the stripes are open to purple and white.
Why does yellow come back full at the start?
Yellow 40 is linked to brown 50. Brown empties on the frame, but no lemon is exposed yet, so the pair parks as brown 0 / yellow 40 until the right lemon opens.
Why does dark green stop at 18 in Level 877?
Most of its pixels are on the upper-left lemon's leaves, which stay covered by the stripes until late. Park the dark green 18 in storage instead of cycling it, then bring it back with dark green 40 once the left lemon's leaf edges are open.
