Yarn Loop level guide
Yarn Loop Level 915 Walkthrough
An abstract swirl of cyan, sky blue, yellow and purple bands sits inside a frame of numbered thread boxes; each box drains only into bobbins of its own color, and three zigzag zipper lines wait inside the picture.
Verified Board Notes
- Initial Layout Geometry
- An abstract swirl of curved cyan, sky blue and yellow bands separated by violet, purple and dark purple stripes fills the picture. Numbered thread boxes form its frame: olive 50 and navy 50 along the top and bottom, blue 50 and lavender 50 down each side, and orange 30 in two corners. Three purple tabs marked '?' with dark zigzag lines sit inside. Four supply columns show blue 50, lavender 50, olive 50 and sky blue 30 on top with a '?' bobbin, dark purple 50, purple 40 and navy 50 beneath. Storage has five empty slots and the track is empty.
- Goal / Target Area
- Empty every thread box in the frame, clear the cyan, sky blue, yellow and purple bands of the swirl, and pull the three dark purple zipper lines.
- Opening Moves
- Blue 50 from column one drains the blue side boxes to 30 and 20, then olive 50 from column three works the olive boxes and parks at 22. Column one reveals a yellow 20 linked to a purple 20. Lavender 50 from column two follows on the lavender boxes, then the yellow and purple pair and dark purple 50.
- Danger Zone
- Late in the level the linked yellow, orange and purple chain parks as yellow 0, orange 0 and purple 10 and holds three slots for most of the closing stretch, with a cyan leftover sometimes making four. Re-send it only when three places are free.
- Unique Mechanics
- The frame is a ring of thread boxes that drain only into matching bobbins and vanish at zero. Purple '?' tabs head zigzag lines of hidden stitches; the middle one comes out with a dark purple bobbin. Hidden '?' bobbins in the supply reveal their color at the front, and many supply bobbins are linked in the same or neighboring columns (yellow and purple 20s, yellow 10 with blue 50, purple 20 with sky blue 30, sky blue 30 with purple 10), plus a mid-level sky blue, dark purple 40 and cyan 30 chain and a late yellow, orange and purple chain of three.
Storage: the five slots where returning bobbins park until their color is reachable again. Linked: bobbins joined by a bar leave together and take one track place each.
Quick Tips for Level 915
- The frame around the picture is made of thread boxes: blue 50s, olive 50s, navy 50s, lavender 50s and orange 30s in the corners. Each one only drains into bobbins of its own color, so the first blue, olive and lavender 50s work the boxes, not the swirl.
- Column one's first hidden bobbin is a yellow 20 linked to a purple 20. Send that pair together with free places to spare; early on it returns to storage beside a dark purple 50 and the three pieces sit there for a long time.
- The three purple tabs marked '?' head zigzag lines of hidden stitches. The middle one comes out with a dark purple bobbin once the bands around it are thin, so keep a dark purple bobbin for late in the level.
How to Solve Yarn Loop Level 915 — Full Solution
- Send the blue 50 from column one; it drains the blue boxes on the left and right of the frame down to 30 and 20. A '?' bobbin waits under it, with dark purple 50, purple 40 and navy 50 under the other three columns.
- Send the olive 50 from column three onto the olive boxes along the top and bottom of the frame. It returns with 22; park it and re-send it once. A second olive bobbin surfaces mid-level; send it to empty both olive boxes, re-sending it once when it parks at 22.
- Column one's '?' now shows a yellow 20 linked by a bar to a purple 20 below it. Send the lavender 50 from column two first; it takes the lavender boxes on the right and lower left of the frame down to 27 and 23. The next lavender bobbin empties both of them and parks briefly with a few stitches left.
- Send the linked yellow 20 and purple 20, then the dark purple 50 from column two. All three come back untouched while the swirl is still framed and can hold three storage slots for a long stretch, so send only colors that have a box or exposed band to pull.
- Send the navy 50 from column four onto the navy boxes in the top right and bottom left; one trip takes them to 28 and 22. Both stand at those numbers for most of the level until a second navy 50 surfaces in column one late on and empties them.
- Column three's yellow 10 is linked to a blue 50 in column four. Send the pair once two places are free; the blue 50 finishes both blue boxes on the sides of the frame and the yellow takes yellow band stitches.
- Once the blue, lavender and olive boxes on one side are gone, the swirl edge faces the track. Send the sky blue 30s and cyan bobbins onto the cyan and sky blue bands and the yellow 20s onto the yellow bands; small sky blue leftovers park in storage, so re-send them as bands open.
- Send the purple 40s and 20s onto the violet and purple bands, then re-send the parked dark purple onto the dark purple stripes between them. The purple 40s from columns one and three are your main purple supply.
- Send the orange 30 when it surfaces in column four; it takes both orange corner boxes down to 16 and 14. Late in the level column one shows a yellow 10 linked to an orange 30 and a purple 10. That chain's orange empties both corner boxes, then it parks with only its purple live; re-send it whenever three places are free, as its purple works until the end.
- Send the dark purple 40 and 50 for the dark purple stripes and the zigzag lines. The middle zigzag comes out from its purple tab with a dark purple bobbin once the bands around it are thin; treat the other two the same way when their surroundings open.
- Finish with the remaining sky blue 30s from columns three and four on the last sky blue and cyan pixels, re-sending the yellow 6 and dark purple leftovers from storage as their stitches face the track.
- Send the last sky blue 30 from supply once a place opens. A late dark purple bobbin, worked down to its last few stitches, and the chain's purple, down to its final stitch, take the closing purple pixels.
Colors in this level:
Cyan, Sky blue, Blue, Navy, Yellow, Olive, Orange, Lavender, Purple, Dark purple
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Treating the numbered frame as decoration and sending swirl colors first; while the boxes stand, purple, yellow and dark purple bobbins have little to pull and pile up in storage.
- Sending the linked yellow 20 and purple 20 together with the dark purple 50 too early, which leaves three untouched pieces in storage while the boxes are still draining.
- Sending the late yellow 10, orange 30 and purple 10 chain with fewer than three places free; it returns as three pieces and crowds storage.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the numbered boxes around the edge in Yarn Loop Level 915?
They are thread boxes in blue, olive, navy, lavender and orange. Only bobbins of the same color drain them, and each box disappears when its number reaches zero, exposing the edge of the swirl behind it.
How do the purple zipper lines work in Level 915?
Each purple tab marked '?' heads a zigzag line of hidden stitches. The middle line comes out with a dark purple bobbin once the bands around it are thin, so keep dark purple available late and send it when a line faces the track.
Why is storage full of yellow and purple pieces early in Level 915?
The yellow 20 and purple 20 under column one are linked, and with the dark purple 50 they have almost nothing exposed while the frame boxes stand. Drain the blue, olive and lavender boxes first so those colors have bands to pull.
