Yarn Loop level guide
Yarn Loop Level 938 Walkthrough
A ladder climbs from a flowery patch of grass to a blue cloud full of red, pink and yellow hearts. Three long supply columns each repeat their color order, and each stalls whenever its front bobbin has nothing to pull.
Verified Board Notes
- Initial Layout Geometry
- A ladder with brown rails, dark brown edges and white panels climbs from a patch of light green, mid green and dark green grass with light pink flowers to a cloud of cyan, sky blue and blue with a navy outline. In the cloud sit two red hearts with salmon and dark red shading and white highlights, a hot pink heart with light pink highlights and a yellow heart edged in orange; four orange hearts float beside the ladder, two with yellow centers. Three supply columns show dark brown 20, white 30 and brown 30 on top, with blue 30, orange 50 and hot pink 20 below and sky blue 20, navy 30 and yellow 20 in the third row; storage has five empty slots and the track is empty.
- Goal / Target Area
- Clear the floating orange hearts, the ladder rails and white panels and the grass first, then the cloud's navy outline and blue lower half, and finally the red, pink and yellow hearts and the cyan top of the cloud.
- Opening Moves
- Brown 30 from column three, white 30 and orange 50 from column two, dark brown 20 from column one, then column two's navy 30. Brown and orange come back part used, white almost untouched and dark brown briefly; re-send orange and dark brown, then send hot pink 20, yellow 20 and cyan 30 from column three.
- Danger Zone
- Storage turns red with four pieces, sky blue 4, navy 5, hot pink 7 and salmon 3, while the track is full. Take nothing new from supply; re-send whichever leftover's color sits at the edge first.
- Unique Mechanics
- There are no crates, '?' bobbins or link bars. Each column repeats its color order with smaller numbers. Column one cycles through dark brown, blue, sky blue, red, salmon and light green twice, then ends on dark brown 20, blue 20 and cyan 20. Column two cycles through white, orange, navy, navy, light pink and mid green twice, then white 20, navy 20 and light green 20. Column three cycles through brown, hot pink, yellow, cyan, dark red and dark green twice, then brown 20, red 20 and dark green 10. A front bobbin with nothing to pull holds up its whole column.
Storage: the five slots where returning bobbins park until their color is reachable again.
Quick Tips for Level 938
- Column one's blue 30 is best held until column two's navy 30 and navy 10 have worked the navy outline of the cloud. It then has the blue lower half of the cloud to pull instead of coming straight back.
- Column two's white 30 comes back with 29 at the start because white has almost nothing to pull yet; let it sit in storage until the rails and panels show at the edge. Its second white, a white 20, should wait at the front of column two until most of the rails are gone.
- Column three's hot pink 20 and the hot pink 10 from its second round both go to the pink heart in the middle of the cloud. The hot pink 10 waits at the front of column three until late, so keep columns one and two moving meanwhile.
How to Solve Yarn Loop Level 938 — Full Solution
- Send brown 30 from column three onto the ladder rails, then column two's white 30 and orange 50. Brown and orange come back part used and white comes back with 29, so three storage slots fill at once; white has almost nothing to pull yet.
- Send column one's dark brown 20 on the dark brown ladder edges and column two's navy 30 on the navy outline of the cloud. Re-send the orange onto the floating orange hearts; dark brown comes back once part used, so re-send it straight away. Then send column three's hot pink 20 for the pink heart.
- Column three's yellow 20 goes on the yellow heart and the small yellow centers, and column two's navy 10 on the rest of the navy outline. Then send column three's cyan 30 for the light top of the cloud and column two's light pink 10 for the flowers and the heart highlights.
- Re-send the brown and white leftovers once the rails and panels show at the edge. Send column three's dark red 20 on the heart shading and column two's mid green 10 on the grass; the white 20 behind it waits at the front until late, so column two pauses. Column one's blue 30 also waits at the front until the outline has opened the lower cloud.
- Send column three's dark green 20 on the grass outline, then column one's blue 30 for the lower cloud, then column three's second brown 30 on the rails. A white leftover parks for a long stretch; leave it in storage while the other slots rotate.
- Work column one's first round: sky blue 20 on the middle of the cloud, red 20 and salmon 20 on the red hearts, and light green 30 on the grass. Column three's front bobbin has little to pull here; leave it.
- Storage turns red with four pieces more than once from here on (see Danger Zone). Take nothing new while it is red; re-send the leftovers whose colors sit at the edge, then column one's dark brown 20 and blue 30 from its second round.
- Column two's white 20 now goes onto the last white panels as the rails thin out. Follow it with column two's orange 50 for the orange hearts and edges, and its navy 20 and navy 10 for the rest of the cloud outline.
- Once the pink heart reaches the edge, send column three's hot pink 10, then its yellow 20 and cyan 20. Storage reaches its peak around this point, so re-send short leftovers before taking the next bobbin.
- Send the rest of column two's second round and the short third rounds of columns two and three as their colors reach the edge. Both end on a green: light green 20 in column two and dark green 10 in column three.
- Column one finishes its second round: sky blue 10 on the cloud, red 20 and salmon 10 on the last red heart pixels, and light green 20 on the grass. Keep re-sending the short leftovers from storage between them.
- Column one ends with dark brown 20, blue 20 and cyan 20. Send dark brown 20 for the last rail pixels, then blue 20; cyan 20 is the final send, and the two blues clear the last cloud stitches.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Re-sending column two's white leftover straight away; white still has almost nothing to pull, so it only takes a place on the track that orange and the column-three colors need.
- Sending column two's white 20 while the ladder rails still stand; it has little to pull and only adds another white leftover to storage.
- Taking new supply while storage is red with four pieces and the track is full; the next return fills the last slot.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does column two's white 30 come back almost untouched in Yarn Loop Level 938?
At the start the white panels of the ladder are not yet reachable, so white has almost nothing to pull. Let the white leftover sit in storage while brown, orange, navy and the column-three colors work, and re-send it once panels show at the edge.
Why does storage turn red in Level 938?
Each column is one long queue, and its front bobbin often has nothing to pull. Leftovers pile up while the track is full, and storage turns red at four pieces. Re-send leftovers whose colors sit at the edge before taking more supply.
In what order do the supply columns come out in Level 938?
Each column repeats its colors with smaller numbers. Column one cycles dark brown, blue, sky blue, red, salmon and light green; column two white, orange, navy, light pink and mid green; column three brown, hot pink, yellow, cyan, dark red and dark green.
